This is Calle's scooter in Hong Kong since December 2005, he got it in a very bad mechanical condition but with a good body and a shiny paintwork. He have raced it along the busy roads and done a good 20000km on since then.
Model: Scooter India Ltd. Lambretta GP 200, year 1988
Cylinder: Mugello 200 ported with SC001 Blue printing and polishing set and upgraded with SC057 Exhaust stud/short inlet stud with nut with the added SC056 Exhaust nut kit bronze and the spark is generated in a SC031 B8ES NGK Sparkplug
Carburettor: PHBH 30mm, pilot jet 57, mail jet 105 and needle X7 and it breathes through SC019 air hose GP200 with a added RamAir
Exhaust: Early evaluation version of SC302 Soulsaxophone exhaust, Standard Cylinder the verson on Calle's GP where not fully chromed and we did after a couple of years decided that all should be chromed, on the request from long haired pillon passangers we are in end 2010 introducing a u-bend on the end pipe as not everybody loves the second hand two stroke smell.
Engine, internal: The gearbox is fully standarda SIL GP200. The upper chain guide is the first batch of early evaluation version of SC027 Upper chain guide race style held in place with SC033 upper chain guide screw kit.
The engine runs fast and smooth with SC003 Bearing set, DL/GP and SC035 Bearing bush crown wheel as well as sealed with SC020 Gasket set 200 and SC006 Oil seal set crank case Li,SX,TV&GP surely also he used the SC005 Bearing flange screws Li,SX,TV&GP
Since the scooter is pretty fast and Hong Kong is the city in the world that is most crowded it is a good scooter to test clutch components on, the SC055 Clutch preasure piston bearing bronze and the SC013 metal Clutch plates set comes from a old SIL stock and the SC015 Clutch basket is brand new from SIL. We where fighting hard to find good gear box oil as very few companies sells the correct one so in teh end we contacted a manufacturer in Sweden and now are issuing our own SC321 Lambretta Gear box oil SAE90
SIL engines from factory have bolts for the chaincase so these where swapped for SC004 Chaincase studs in high tensile steel.
Other parts used: The streets of the New Territories and other parts in Hong Kong is lighted up bright with SC086 Halogen Bulb 12V 35/35W Lambretta and Vespa
Turning on the ignition is done by SC021 Ignition key switch DC (battery)
The driving is sporty and comfortable on SC009 rear damp chrome spring and SC304 Soulscooter dual love seat
It is just out from the paintshop and assembled using SC010 grey cablekit, teflon and SC076 Complete rubber kit GP/DL
